I have had a Kodak Easy Share digital camera for years. Still working great. I just wanted something smaller and thinner for easy carrying. I bought this camera on Black Friday at a great price and received it in a couple of days. I was surprised how fast it arrived. My pictures have been awesome and the camera is so easy to use. I love this camera. It does everything I need it to do and more. So far I am very pleased with this purchase.

Every year Amazon seems to come through with a full featured camera at an INSANE price for the holiday season- this year it is the outstanding Kodak MD55. By nature, the EasyShare line is easy to use, with simple instructions (THANK YOU). This one is truly out of the box charge it up and you are ready to shoot.
ONE VERY *VERY* IMPORTANT NOTE -it does NOT ship with a SDHC card- PLEASE do yourself a favor and be sure you have one . Though I cant imagine needing one this size, it will take up to a 32GB card. (Amazon Basics has nice cards in 8, 16 and 32's).video is fun to play with as well
Photo quality is very nice in this 14MP point-and-shoot, and the 720P video is fun to play with. I also like the dedicated "share" button which can send your pictures to Twitter, Facebook YouTube and other sites.
At this price, you cant really go wrong- you just might find this as your go-to camera, more so than some that are much more expensive!

Bought this camera right after Thanksgiving thinking I was getting a great deal. Not only do I HATE it, but it went $20 lower a couple weeks ago! Wish I had returned it right away. The response time is really slow, after you take a picture it takes a couple seconds to get the screen back so you can take another. This camera has some great features but I'm sick of seeing the "processing" screen. Also, the low lighting settings are horrible! I had to go in manually to change them as the flash washes EVERYTHING out. I bought this camera because a friend of mine has a Kodak and it seems to be really nice, but this one is awful! My advice is MOVE ALONG, spend the extra $$ for a Canon, Olympus or Lumix.
